IN the absence of the President, Pat Metcalfe chaired the meeting of Davenham WI.
Tickets for the Summer Event at Owley Wood Club on June 30 were available.
No decision was taken on the outing for the August meeting, although suggestions were made.
Donations of sweets for the tombola stall at the rose fete were brought and arrangements made for the running of the stall.
The speaker was Andrea Grievson, who gave an interesting talk on My Psychic Experience. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, July 14, when the speaker will talk about Chinese Brush Painting.
