THE Aztecs bounced back after dropping a couple of points last week.

It was the Blades who took an early lead but it wasn't long before the floodgates opened for the Aztecs. The deadly finishing of Adam Donohue led to an equaliser after neat work from player of the week Alex Downing.

Soon after, Downing increased the lead after a delightful drag-back by Connor Longstaffe.

A penalty was awarded but the positioning and handling of goalkeeper Callum Jones saw the Aztecs keep their lead.

They increased their lead to 7-1 by half time due to the creative flair of Dan Adams.

After the break, Rory Stewart made it 12-1 with Donohue and man of the match Josh Langton adding a couple more.

Stewart scored an absolute cracker before Martin Ball went forward and scored with a tremendous individual goal.

Defenders Marcus Rowley and Alex Cooke were always alert to any danger and strong in the tackle when required. Next week it's Brookvale Stars away on Sunday.
