AN investment in training helped a Warrington company scoop success at the 10th edition of the awards.

Belfry Group Limited, a privately owned maintenance and building services sepcialist, took him the prize in the training and development category at the Park Royal Hotel.

For the last six years the company, based on Wilderspool Causeway, has developed a reputation as a complete service solution for commercial, corporate, education and government clients.

As well as being accredited by the main regulatory and quality assurance bodies, Belfry's continuing growth is firmly underpinned by regular investment in staff training, apprenticeship and adult improver courses run by Warrington providers.

A spokesman for the company said: “Our people are our strength so it makes sense to invest in developing their skill sets.”

And the judges agreed: “With a significant employee base, they were impressed by the company’s structured training and its systematic and comprehensive approach.”
