A HATRICK was just not good enough for a shop who took home the retailer of the year category for the fourth year in succession.

Corks Out started out as a shop on London Road in Stockton Heath five-and-a-half years ago.

Now there are five stores across Cheshire and 18 members of staff making it a huge success story for Warrington.

Renowed for its more than 2,500 products, it has an eclectic mix of wines.

The judges said it was a firm choice for the prize.

They said: “Corks Out continues to be a very strong business in a niche market. They are a significant asset to Warrington.”

And that was not the only success at the Warrington Business Awards.

Because owner Ruth Yates was highly commended in the business person of the year category.

She was praised by the judges for being a ‘consistent and very strong leader in her field’.
