A BUSINESSMAN born and bred in Warrington is hoping his executive coaching will being multi-national skills to companies in the town.

Chris Whiteley, director of CPW Executive Coaching, was celebrating after winning the start-up business title at the Warrington Business Awards.

The former Broomfields pupils in Stockton Heath launced the company in January 2008 after following his dream.

Formerly a finance manager at Siemens, the 43-year-old benefitted from executive coaching and decided he wanted to help others too.

He said: “I work with leaders and aspiring leaders for their development.

“I can help them reach the next level of the corporate ladder or improve their confidence.”

Chris helps develop a programme for people he works with for between three and 12 months and likes their path to a car journey.

“We pick a destination and then work out a path to get there,” he added.

Currently he tours the country visiting various types of companies but says his dream is to help more businesses in his home town.

He added: “I have done a lot of travelling with work and want to work here.

“This is the benefit to this award. People have to know we are here and available.

“I want to bring coaching to Warrington. it is possible to bring the business practices of multi nationals to the area.”
