JADE Chapman caused an upset in the Warrington Junior Bowls League Premier Division when she defeated current leader Kyle Chapman 15-10 on Saturday.

Adam Lea, Danny Roberts and Matt Gatley took full advantage by winning their matches and are now in striking distance of the leader with two games to go.

It was all change in Division One, where Mike Roberts and last year’s champion Mike Yule have moved to the top of the league following shock defeats for Rebecca Higgin and James Maher.

Despite losing, Higgin and Maher are only two points behind the leaders and still have every chance of winning the title.

Scott Brown has moved into third place just one point behind the leaders, while Jack Harper is in joint fourth place on 108 points and Thomas Chapman remains in touch with the league leaders but has more games left to play.

In the newcomers league, Sophie Bishop, Chloe Mackintosh and Amy Mackintosh were in fine form.
