PADGATE High School played host to a set of special visitors when Warrington Wolves players took the opportunity to promote the start of the season.
Former pupil Kevin Penny, pictured, took Steve Pickersgill, Ben Westwood and Simon Grix along to assemblies at the school, where they spoke about their first match of the season, played last Saturday.
Pupils were also given a pep-talk on motivating themselves for success.
The players aoffered reduced price tickets for their matches and awarded free tickets as prizes in assembly.
Padgate High’s Louise Ashford said: “We loved having them in to talk to us. They were huge and incredibly fit.”
