WELL gobby gossip queen Luke has gone and our ears will surely reap the benefits.

The Wigan wrestling fanatic left the house making plenty of “You’ll be next, watch your back” warnings to his remaining friends, but truth be told he was always going to be next out the door once his bosom-buddy Rebecca was evicted last week.

Luke became a parody of his former self – and with his whining and bitterness turned up a notch the entertaining aspects of his personality took a firm backseat.

But one out, one in was the order of the day as Rex’s girlfriend Nicole entered as the 57th special token prize.

Earlier this week Rex kicked up one hell of a row after Luke and Lisa wrongly identified his other half in a police line-up task.

Suspect number six, a strikingly pretty blonde, was, for the record, not Rex’s girlfriend.

Shown a picture of the girl, Rex declared (with more swear words): “She's awful, she's awful.

“Are you saying that she's better looking than my girlfriend?

“My girlfriend is fifty times better than her. All compliments for that girl getting to call herself my girlfriend.”

The obnoxious bully continued by launching into a cascade of insults and foul words, slating Lisa in particular for her ‘unbelievable’ choice.

Tuning in last night to see Nicole reunited with her man; viewers who missed the original lineup were no doubt expecting the student to be some form of cross between Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie.

Now to be fair to the 19-year-old from Surrey, she isn’t bad looking. Yes, her nose is a bit wonky and her smile is as natural as Victoria Beckham’s, but she is pleasant enough on the eye.

However, Rex’s pathetic posturing didn’t do her (or him) any favours – and I doubt suspect number six will be losing any sleep.
