A WORLD-CLASS musician is set to perform in a special homecoming concert.
Warrington-born violinist Pippa Clarke will return to the stage in her hometown for a performance with the Warrington Male Voice Choir at St James Church, Latchford, on Saturday, October 10.
Described as a "world-class violinist," Ms Clarke has played at Carnegie Hall and with orchestras across the United States, including the Buffalo Philharmonic and Honolulu Symphony.
Russell Paterson, musical director of the Warrington Male Voice Choir, said: "This is a wonderful concert for us, in collaboration with a truly world-class violinist.
"Pippa will be performing a number of beautiful, recognisable violin pieces that the audience will know and love, alongside several pieces where she'll be joining the choir together.
"It's a real treat.
"An evening of harmonies, both voices and strings, coming together."
Her violin can also be heard on the soundtrack of the Robert De Niro film 15 Minutes, and she was named a rising star at Chicago's Ravinia Festival.
Now based in Warrington, Ms Clarke performs regularly as part of a duo and has appeared with the London Sinfonia and Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
The concert, titled Echoes & Elegance, is the choir’s first official hosted event of 2026.
Doors open at 6.45pm, with the concert beginning at 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s.
They can be purchased online in advance or paid for by cash on the door.
