A HOUSEBUILDER has donated £500 to support Warrington Wolves Foundation’s Learning Disability Rugby League (LDRL) team.
Linden Homes, part of Vistry, made the donation as part of its Summer of Sport campaign, which supports grassroots organisations promoting health and wellbeing in the North West.
The funds will be used for equipment, kit, and travel costs, helping players participate in competitive sport and teamwork.
Ben Stiff, marketing and communications coordinator at Warrington Wolves Foundation, said: "Sport has the power to bring people together, build confidence and create opportunities for everyone, regardless of ability.
"Our Learning Disability Rugby League team is a brilliant example of that in action, giving local players the opportunity to represent Warrington Wolves, develop friendships and enjoy the physical and social benefits of being part of a team.
"We’re incredibly grateful to Linden Homes for their £500 donation.
"Support like this helps us provide the opportunities that make a real difference to our players and ensures that our Foundation continues to create inclusive sporting opportunities across Warrington."
The donation supports the team’s summer camps.
Linden Homes is currently taking reservations for three and four-bedroom homes at its Radley Woods development in Peel Hall Garden Village, Warrington.
The company has pledged to support community organisations throughout the construction of the 1,200-home development and beyond.

The LDRL team trains every Friday evening at Victoria Park and offers a non-contact, adapted version of rugby league for players of all abilities.
The Warrington Wolves Foundation also hosted a dedicated SEND Rugby Camp from August 11 to 14 at King’s Leadership Academy in Woolston.
Homes at Radley Woods start from £360,000 and are available to reserve now.
