A SUSPECT has been charged with wounding following reports that a man was hospitalised in a stabbing incident.
The charge comes more than a year on from the incident, which is alleged to have occurred in Birchwood last spring.
Perry Mosey, of Lilford Avenue in Bewsey, has been charged with wounding with intent in connection with the incident.
The 35-year-old has also been charged with possession of a knife, blade, or sharply pointed article in a public place.
It follows reports that a man had been taken to hospital after emergency services attended reports of a stabbing.
Officers from Cheshire Police and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service attended Birchwood following calls over an incident on the evening of Sunday, May 19, 2024.
After arriving at the scene on Whitethroat Walk at around 9pm, a 30-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
