ONE way for a business to stay at the top of its game is to retain high standards while keeping things fresh and exciting.

Consistently rated as Trip Advisor's top-rated restaurant in Newton-le-Willows, this is exactly what Verona Kitchen & Bar is planning with a revamp of its menu, head chef, and general manager.

The team is set to unveil its new menu this weekend to keep things fresh for staff and regulars, and attract more customers yet to try the High Street business.

While there have been various menus and chefs in place over the years, there has always been a modern twist on classic cuisine at Verona, as well as a selection of mouth-watering starters, desserts, and specials.

To retain its high reputation, there has also been a commitment to attentive service and providing a warm and welcoming place to enjoy a high-quality meal at Verona.

Nevertheless, the business also isn't afraid to evolve and diversify, and it is set to move into another new direction this weekend.

With the restaurant's popular pasta and wood-fired pizzas staying on the menu, some of the new options include oysters, wagyu meatballs, and steak sandwiches across the lunch and dinner menus.

Some of these options were served up by Verona's new three-star Rosettee chef, Jay Ellis, at a tasting event on Monday, March 17, which produced rave reviews from those lucky enough to try.

"It's all about the highest quality ingredients and fresh produce, while keeping our meals as an affordable treat.

"We are still keeping a lot of our meals and deals that we have been so popular for, but we are trying new things to stay ahead of the game."
