AN event with free fairground rides and free face painting is coming to Warrington this weekend.
The Great Sankey Summer Fun Day will take place at Dakota Park in Chapelford on Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.
More than 40 stalls will be available at the event, showcasing the likes of charities, crafts, jewellery, cosmetics, dog treats, ice cream, donuts, sweets, and more.
There will also be performances from SS Dance & Fitness, Vibe, Centenary Theatre and Egan Rogers Dance Academy.
As well as this, a dog show will be taking place, with entry to it priced a £1 and donations going towards Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The event is organised by Great Sankey Parish Council who has funded the fairground rides.
And there will also be free face painting and a free circus skills workshop.
Parking is limited, so those attending are asked to walk where they can.
