THELWALL Rose Queen returned to the village today, Saturday.
In what is always a popular event, plenty of people lined the streets to watch the procession.
And not even a bit of rain could dampen spirits.
This year, Zara Whittaker-Ive’s reign began as rose queen.
Among the procession were pupils, a lively Katumba band, and plenty of impressive floats.
And an exciting fun fair accompanied by plenty of activities was waiting for everyone for a fun-filled afternoon.
