Major road closed for hours following crash between two cars
A MAJOR road is closed following a crash involving two vehicles.
At around 11am today, Tuesday, emergency services were called to an incident on the border of Liverpool Road and Warrington Road between Warrington and Bold Heath.
On attendance, officers from Merseyside Police found the crash involved a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Mondeo.
It is believed that the driver of the Ford Mondeo sustained minor injuries, a Merseyside Police spokesperson said.
As of this afternoon, both vehicles have been recovered.
But the road, which is awaiting council attendance, remains closed due to debris.
