A SUSPECT has been named by the courts after being charged with committing an aggravated burglary.
The charges relate to a reported incident on Thursday, June 6, on Grasmere Avenue in Orford.
Amen Elgaddari, aged 36 and of Sinclair Avenue in Longford, is the suspect charged.
He faces allegations of aggravated burglary, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault by beating.
The former alleges that the male defendant entered an address on Grasmere Avenue as a trespasser on June 6.
It is alleged that when inside, he stole mobile phones of a value unknown, and that at the time of committing the burglary, he had with him a weapon in the form of a knife.
Further allegations are that he assaulted two women on the same date, causing one to suffer actual bodily harm.
Elgaddari made a first appearance in relation to the charges before Chester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
Magistrates sent the case to Liverpool Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing next month and remanded him in custody.
