A GANG of men made off with motorbikes worth £2,400 in a hacksaw burglary in the early hours of the morning.

Between 2am and 3am on Wednesday, June 5, five unknown men entered the grounds of an address on Chapel Lane in Rixton by climbing an exterior fence.

The burglars proceeded to forcibly access five secure storage containers using an on-site hacksaw, removing two motorbikes from one of them.

The bikes are described as a white Yamaha TY125 worth around £1,000 and a red-black Honda CRF worth £1,400.

It is also believed the men caused substantial damage to a Mercedes Sprinter van.
