A LEGENDARY TV star paid a ‘Royle visit’ to a village in Warrington this weekend.
Sue Johnston OBE, who was born in Padgate and is best known for starring in Brookside, Waking The Dead and The Royle Family, attended an event to celebrate a business in Lymm.
Sue cut the ribbon at the official launch party of Laurel House Interiors, a firm owned by Barbara Ogden.
The company designs rooms that reflect the personality of clients and aims to make their homes a happy place.
The new showroom, located on Oughtrington Lane, was officially opened for the launch event last week to allow guests to take a look inside and to browse from a range of ex display curtains and blinds for sale at discounted prices.
Guests, along with Sue, also enjoyed some celebratory bubbly, homemade cake, and a natter.
The new showroom, The Studio Bridge Works, symbols Barbara’s hard work and passion for design.
