THREE men have been charged with drug offences after a property in Latchford was raided and a police chase ensued.

At around 2.15pm last Wednesday, officers conducted a search warrant on New Road, Latchford.

A suspect fled from the address on foot and officers, with the assistance of the police helicopter carried out a search of the area to locate the man.

Three men, Carl Clayton, 30, Louis McNally, 31, and Dale O'Brien, 46, were arrested following the search warrant on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin).

Since then all three have been charged for the offences.

Clayton, of Duke Street, Liverpool, and McNally, of Max Road, Liverpool, have been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday June 14.

O'Brien, of New Road, Latchford, has been released on conditional bail and also is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on the same date.
