ALADDIN has arrived in Manchester and it is safe to say the performance will take you to a whole new world.

Disney’s spectacular West End Musical is touring the UK for the very first time.

On at Manchester Palace Theatre for seven weeks, it is definitely not one to be missed.

The show follows the story of Aladdin, a charming street rat from the streets of Agrabah, who falls in love with Princess Jasmine and is able to woo her with the help of Genie.

Aladdin is a childhood Disney classic which many may think could be hard to adapt for the stage.

But the truly enchanting performance brought all the magic that Disney is known for and more.

No expense was spared on the set design which provided a spectacular backdrop, transporting the audience to Agrabah.

A standout scene for many reasons was the one which took place in the Cave of Wonders. The stage was full of gold, glitz, and sparkle as far as the eye could see.

Warrington Guardian:

And the production number from Genie, portrayed by Yeukayi Ushe, and the rest of the cast here was one of the best bits of theatre I have experienced.

It was jam-packed full of Disney charm and magic, with every member of the audience in awe.

Aladdin and Jasmine’s ride on the magic flying carpet was another special moment, with the Palace Theatre stage being transformed into the midnight starry sky.

But what truly made the show was the talented cast, with every member bringing something different.

Genie had the audience wrapped around his finger with his energy, evident from the cheers and rounds of applause after each of his many appearances. It was clear he was a highlight of the show for many.

An incredible performance was put on by Jasmine, played by Desmonda Cathabel, and Aladdin, played by Gavin Adams, who both brought wonderful vocals, charm, and emotion.

The show even manages to bring true humour from start to finish, with bellows of laughter being heard in the audience throughout.

The performance is suitable for those aged six years and above, making it the perfect family trip out.

Aladdin is on at Manchester Palace Theatre until July 7.

Tickets start from £20 and can be purchased here: https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/disneys-aladdin/palace-theatre-manchester/
