THERE are delays of one hour and 20 minutes on the motorway in Warrington.
This is following a crash which resulted in all traffic being held on M6 northbound between junction 23, Haydock, and junction 21a, Croft.
Drivers are currently facing ‘severe delays’ and stationary traffic as a result, with queues stretching back to junction 19, Knutsford.
It is believed the incident involves a van and a car.
Traffic officers are at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for further information.
