THREE Indian eateries in Warrington have been named among the best in the country as finalists for the 13th English Curry Awards have been announced.

Oceanic Consulting, powered by Oceanic Awards, announced the finalists on Wednesday, May 15.

The awards shine a light on the best individuals and establishments within the curry industry.

Three Warrington restaurants have been shortlisted as finalists for the awards which will take place on August 19.

Bombay 8 Indian Restaurant, which is under the Travelodge in Westbrook, has been chosen as a finalist for Curry Restaurant of the Year in the north west.

The eatery serves food both in the restaurant and to takeaway from 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Chennai Indian Restaurant in Glazebury has been chosen as a finalist for Dining Experience of the year in the north west.

The restaurant, which is rated 4.7 stars on Google Reviews, serves a wide range of food – and the chefs are happy to make dishes that are not on the menu if they have the right ingredients in the kitchen.

Finally, Bhaji Fresh Takeaway is a finalist for the Takeaway and Home Delivery of the Year.

The Knutsford Road takeaway previously won the English Curry Awards’ North West Takeaway of the Year Award and serves Bangladeshi and Indian dishes.
