BENTS Garden and Home is set to hold numerous events throughout May, including an artisan market, bear stuffing workshops and a dinosaur show.

The Glazebury garden centre will hold numerous events over the coming weeks, starting this weekend with an artisan market with more than 80 stalls.

The market will open at 10am on Saturday and will feature crafts, food and gifts for visitors to buy.

On Thursday, May 16, Bents will be joined by Manchester United player, Denis Irwin, for a Sportsman’s Dinner, which will be hosted in The Fresh Approach Restaurant.

Guests will hear first-hand tales from the pitch while enjoying a three-course meal for £55.

The following Thursday, on May 23, a BBQ Masterclass is scheduled to teach attendees top tips and cooking skills from experts in time for summer.

Bents also has lots of events ready for families and children this half term.

On May 27 and 29, kids can get creative in the Children’s Boutique, followed by a bear-stuffing workshop on May 28 and 30.

Willy Wonka themed afternoon teas will also be taking place at Bents on May 29, 30 and 31 for £12.95 per person.

Finally, on May 31 visitors can step into a prehistoric adventure at Bents’ dinosaur shows for free.
