MARKS and Spencer has opened the newest branch of its opticians service – based in its Warrington store.

M&S Gemini will offer customers expert advice, including comprehensive eye tests carried out by experienced optometrists and with the latest technology.

Customers can choose from a wide range of M&S frames starting from £50, as well as designer brands such as Mulberry, Prada, Kate Spade, Ray-Ban and Joules.

Expert advice on contact lens fitting and wearing is also on hand, alongside a contact lens home delivery option.

Moreover, the store will offer an a hearing care service with free hearing assessments and expert advice from hearing aid audiologists.

The opticians, which can be found on the first floor of the Europa Boulevard store by homeware, was officially opened by Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpillar.

Rob Pickford, M&S Gemini store manager, said: “We want to offer our customers the very best of M&S, and so it is fantastic to be opening an M&S Opticians in-store.

“We know convenience is so important to our customers, and so being able to provide eye tests, hearing screenings and expert advice under the one roof will make life easier for many.

“We are also proud to stock different glasses brands alongside our M&S collection, so we have something stylish for everyone, no matter the budget.”

The store will be open between 8.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday, as well as from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
