MORE children have been given their first choice of primary school.
Parents found out today which school their children would be attending from September.
According to Warrington Borough Council, every child who applied, from 2,202 youngsters, was given a place. They say if they were not allocated a preference, then an alternative has been offered.

Figures show 2,075 of families were given their first choice school, 94.23 per cent. That is up from 93 per cent for last year.
Some 85 (3.86 per cent) were given their second choice.
And 19 were given their third choice (0.85 per cent).
In total, there were 2,202 applications, down from 2,325 on 2023.
