WARRINGTON will go to the polls next month.
All seats will be available at Warrington Town Hall.
Voting takes place on Thursday, May 2 with polling stations open from 7am until 10pm.
Residents will vote in local elections and for the next Cheshire police and crime commissioner. While in some areas there will also be parish council elections.
But it will take a while for the results to come in.
Warrington Borough Council has confirmed results are expected on the afternoon of Saturday, May 4, with declarations around 4pm.
At the moment Labour holds the power with 36 councillors.
The Conservatives have 10 councillors, the Liberal Democrats eight and there are four independents.
For crime commissioner, John Dwyer defends for the Conservatives, Dan Price is standing for Labour and Paul Duffy for the Liberal Democrats.
