RESIDENTS in Warrington town centre have been hit by power shortages this afternoon.
Those living in the WA1 postcode area have been hit with electricity blackouts.
The issue was first reported at around 1.34pm.
Scottish Power, who cover large areas of Warrington, estimate electricity will be restored by approximately 8.30pm tonight, Friday.
The postcodes affected are as follows: WA1, WA11EG, WA11EH, WA11EN, WA11EY, WA11HE, WA11HG, WA11HN, WA11HQ, WA12JP
