MOTORISTS are being warned of delays on the M6 this morning following reports of an accident.
Two lanes are closed due to the incident on the M6 Southbound at junction 23 from the A580 East Lancashire Road, Haydock to junction 22 at the A49 Winwick Link Road, Newton-le-Willows.
Lanes one and three are closed, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.
Delays are all the way back to junction 25 at Bryn.
