A 46-YEAR-OLD woman was found dead in her bathroom.
An inquest into the death of Cara Kerfoot was held at Cheshire Coroner’s Court on Wednesday.
Here, it was heard how paramedics attended Ms Kerfoot’s home at Gregory Close in Old Hall on October 14 last year after she was found collapsed.
Jacqueline Devonish, the senior coroner for Cheshire, said that sadly her death was confirmed at 8.28pm that day.
The court was told how Ms Kerfoot was known to be an illicit user of drugs and that she also suffered from naturally occurring diseases.
Cheshire Coroner’s Court concluded that Ms Kerfoot died as a consequence of naturally occurring disease, namely coronary artery atheroma and ischaemic heart disease, contributed to by the use of cocaine.
