THE number of incidents attended by firefighters in Warrington last year has been revealed.
This was following the submission of a Freedom of Information request made through the website WhatDoTheyKnow.
The number of incidents each station in each service area in Cheshire attended from the period of January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, was requested.
In Warrington, there are five fire stations.
In total, fire crews attended 1,688 separate incidents throughout the year.
Here is a breakdown of the number of incidents each fire station in Warrington attended:
Birchwood – 267
Lymm – 161
Penketh – 233
Stockton Heath – 140
Warrington - 887
