TWO people have been arrested after a crash in Warrington.
Volunteer police officers were called to the scene of a crash on the A49 near the Halliwell Jones Stadium last night (April 5).
The crash saw a blue BMW collide with a traffic light button, setting off the car's airbags and removing one of its wheels in the process.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police Special Constabulary said: "Last Night, our Warrington Specials attended a Road Traffic Collision.
"DW21 managed the scene and dealt with the parties involved in the collision.
"The incident resulted in two people being arrested by officers for offences under the Road Traffic Act."
Cheshire Police has been contacted for further information.
