ONE person has been taken to hospital after a three-car crash in Warrington.

The collision happened on Manchester Road at 6pm last night, Thursday.

Police attended and found there had been a collision between three vehicles, a Ford Focus, Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Mokka.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "One person was taken to hospital but there were no reports of any injuries."

Firefighters were also at the scene.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “One casualty had got out of the vehicle themselves and was cared for by paramedics.

“Fire crews made the vehicles safe before leaving the incident.”

The road re-opened at 6.40pm.
