THE headliners for a popular village festival have been announced.

Stockton Heath Festival is returning this summer.

It will be bringing a packed programme, celebrating art, culture, and heritage, with the event offering something for everyone.

There will be live music, ranging from soul, sock, classical, and choral.

New to this year’s festival is a double bill of local bands, featuring The Fleegles, The Beamonts, as well as The Killers Kollective tribute band and The Delatones.

As well as this, the festival will be hosting an open-air theatre at Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden where Romeo and Juliet will be shown.

Warrington Guardian:

Visitors are encouraged to take a picnic while enjoying Illyria’s performance of the classic.

More events will be on offer, from baby sensory to sublime science, to workshops and heritage trails.

The festival will take place from Thursday, July 4, to Sunday, July 7.

Many of the events will be free, while others will be offered at an affordable price.

Tickets for paid events go on sale in early June and they can be purchased online or at the festival box office in the Forge Shopping Centre.
