POLICE have confirmed that Olivia has been found 'safe and well', with officers thanking those who shared the appeal.

ORIGINAL: POLICE have launched an urgent appeal for help in a bid to find a 12-year-old girl who has gone missing.

Cheshire Police is looking to trace Olivia Bates, who lives in Runcorn but was last seen in Warrington.

She was last sighted at around 4.30pm yesterday, Saturday, in the vicinity of Cockhedge Shopping Centre in Warrington.

Olivia is described as being white, 5’3” tall, of slim build, with auburn, shoulder-length hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing blue denim shorts, a black jumper, white socks and black trainers.

She is also believed to have links to Liverpool and New Brighton in Wirral.

Inspector Mike Hart said: “Olivia’s family are rightfully worried, and we are doing everything we can to make sure she gets home safe and well.

“We are very concerned for Olivia’s wellbeing and are working tirelessly to ensure her safety.

“We are determined to locate Olivia, and we urge anyone who may have seen Olivia or has any information in relation to her whereabouts to contact Cheshire Police.”
