Popular Warrington Market trader has closed its doors

Steak and Sauce opened in the Cookhouse back in October 2022.

It brought steak and sauces from around the world to the Time Square venue.

One of its speciality dishes was a steak sub, and the owners prided themselves on using ‘premium sirloin’ cuts of steak with everything being prepared and cooked fresh each day.

However, the eatery has now left the market, appearing 'permanently closed' on Google.

Visitors also reported seeing the signage and branding being taken down from the stall.

It comes after the award-winning market revealed that it has bid farewell to ‘some of its favourites’.

But it teased new openings for spring, asking residents what type of food they’d like to see.
