NEW plans have been drawn up to convert another Warrington address into a HMO.
A number of planning applications have been submitted recently seeking permission to establish such properties.
The latest is by applicant Continuum Investments Limited regarding number 78 Norris Street in Orford.
Plans have been submitted to Warrington Borough Council’s planning department seeking a lawful development certificate.
The proposal is for a proposed change of use of the home from a class C3 dwelling-house to a five-bedroom class C3 HMO.
A HMO, or house of multiple occupancy, is a residential property where common areas exist and are shared by more than one household
Plans state: “The existing property was a C3 use class property. We intend to convert it into a C4 use class property and use it as a HMO.
“The property will house five bedrooms and will be occupied by five unrelated individuals.”
The plans are with the council and will be decided on in due course.
