A SUSPECT has been named by police after being charged with a series of driving offences.

Cheshire Police says it follows a number of incidents in January and February in Warrington town centre.

The force received reports that a Sur-Ron electric-motorbike was seen travelling at speed through a pedestrianised area.

A 23-year-old man has since been charged in connection with the reports.

Daniel Wright, of Roebuck Plaza in Warrington town centre, was arrested on Wednesday, March 13.

He has since been charged with two counts of driving without due care and attention, two counts of driving without insurance and two counts of driving otherwise than in accordance of a licence.

Wright was also arrested and charged with possession of cannabis.

He has since been bailed to appear before Warrington Magistrates' Court on Monday, April 22.
