A LARGE donation of Easter eggs is on its way to a beloved charity that cares for very deserving children.

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), based near Lymm, has been boosted thanks to Miller Homes’ Warrington office.

Staff have given generously to a collection to help those in need of some joy this Easter.

The donation of eggs from Miller Homes will go towards supporting more than 2,000 children visiting CAFT this year for an Easter-themed day – giving them a treat to take home afterwards.

CAFT, based at the Booth Bank Farm, provides a variety of free programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the north west.

The registered charity helps children of all abilities aged 17 and under, who through no fault of their own may miss out on the normalities of childhood.

The farm caters for those with severe physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments and terminal illnesses and children who act as carers for family members.

It also helps those who have faced bereavement and who have witnessed or been victims of abuse, allowing ‘kids to be kids’ for the day.

Clare Noakes, sales director at Miller Homes, said: “CAFT is a charity that is close to us, both geographically and in our hearts.

“We think the work staff do is wonderful and vital, so we are eager to support them in our offices whenever we can.”

This is not the first time Miller Homes has worked alongside the charity, with staff supporting Christmas events and volunteering services.
