COSTA Coffee has confirmed it will be closing its Stockton Heath store.

The coffee shop has been based on London Road for more than a decade.

But as of April 11, it will close its doors for the final time.

A spokesperson for the chain said: “We can confirm that our store on London Road in Stockton Heath will be closing its doors for trade on April 11, 2024.

“We are currently working closely with our talented team members to re-deploy them to other Costa Coffee stores where possible.”

The closure means the nearest Costa branch for south Warrington residents will be at Golden Square.

The closure comes just months after rival Starbucks opened inside the former Natwest building on London Road.
