A LARGE police presence was spotted at Warrington Bank Quay on Friday.
This was following reports of a man making threatening gestures towards passengers onboard a train at the station.
Officers attended the incident at around 4.25pm on Friday.
One passer-by reported seeing around seven police vehicles at the scene, including vans and police dogs.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and after collating witness accounts the man was allowed on his way.”
