A STRETCH of the East Lancs Road has been closed both ways this morning following reports of an accident.
The incident has happened between the A572 Newton Road, Lowton, to Stone Cross Lane North Golborne, according to traffic reports.
Motorists travelling in rush hour are advised to be aware of this.
The incident was reported shortly before 7.30am.
