THERE is heavy traffic in the town centre this evening, Thursday, following a rush-hour crash.
The incident has happened on Church Street at the roundabout near to Mersey Street.
It is believed to have involved a bus and a car.
Police are in attendance and one lane on Church Street is closed while the incident is dealt with.
Heavy traffic is building up around the area as a result.
Cheshire Police has been contacted for comment.
