POLICE have confirmed why an emergency service presence was reported on a residential street.
Three police cars with emergency equipment activated were reported on Alpass Avenue in Bewsey.
This came following reports of concern for the welfare of a man on Monday afternoon.
Cheshire Police has confirmed this was the reason for officer’s attendance, with a man taken to hospital.
A force spokesman said: “At approximately 12.45pm on Monday, March 18, police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man in Alpass Avenue, Warrington.
“Officers attended and the man was taken to hospital.”
