PUPILS from a Warrington dance school are preparing to take on the World Irish Dancing Championships 2024.
At the end of the month, 18 children from Robinson Irish Dance Academy will head to Glasgow to compete where they will be among the top two per cent of Irish dancers in the world.
Parents, children, and teachers couldn’t be more excited for the finals after months of hard work.
Robinson Irish Dance Academy will be taking three teams and two solo dancers to the event.
Children at the school are taught by World Championship dancers Emma and Nicola Robinson.
The duo has enabled pupils to follow a fun and progressive pathway, taking them from playing Irish dancing incorporated games to flourishing into budding dancers.
Emma and Nicola said: “We couldn’t be prouder of our dancers and families as they embark on this experience.
“To dance on a world championship stage is a feeling like nothing else and we are just ecstatic that these young dancers have achieved this opportunity.”
