THIS week, schools across Warrington went all out in celebration of World Book Day.

Yesterday, Thursday, saw the return of the much-loved event in which children dressed up as characters from all their favourite books.

A fantastic variety of iconic characters and books were portrayed throughout the day, with everything from the Oxford dictionary, Harry Potter and Willy Wonka, to Sherlock Holmes, Alice and Wonderland and Miss Trunchbull.
