RESIDENTS are invited to see the transformation of a popular Lymm landmark.

Following a two-month closure for capital work, Lymm Parish Council is looking forward to opening its doors and welcoming the community back into the village hall.

On Saturday, March 16 from 10am to 2pm, the village hall - located on Pepper Street - will be open for residents near and far to come inside and see the changes.

A spokesman for Lymm Parish Council said: "A whole host of local businesses will be in attendance, offering party and event advice to enhance your booking or event. A wide range of local, professional information will be at your fingertips.

"You will also have the chance to learn about the wide variety of activities that happen every week in the hall. From yoga classes including chair yoga, Lymm’s history society, choir groups and bridge group, to book clubs, bread making classes and much, much more. Why not sign up to a new, local class and try something new? All sessions restarted from 1st March.

"The Parish Council will also have a stall. You can enquire about availability of the hall and even make a booking. You will be able to meet your current Councillors, learn more about the local elections on May 2 and how you can become a Parish Councillor.

"Finally, you can let us know what more you need from your village hall. Phase 2 of the capital project is underway!"

Refreshments will also be available.
