A PRESTIGIOUS ceremony was held last night to celebrate the achievements of dedicated Warrington graduates.

Friends, family, and VIP guests gathered at St Elphin’s Church as Warrington & Vale Royal College welcomed its most recent cohort of graduating higher education and professional students.

The night heard from Reverend June Steventon, Warrington North MP Charlotte Nichols, and college principal and chief executive Nichola Newton.

And as like previous years, a fellow of the college was appointed which was Arthur Parsons who is design director at 10:10 Games.

A highlight of the ceremony was when former student and ‘true inspiration’ Jonathan Cliffe took to stage to talk about his ‘heart-warming’ educational and professional journey.

Jonathan studied Level 3 Health and Social Care at the college before progressing to study midwifery at Bangor University.

He graduated with first-class honours and quickly secured his dream job as a midwife at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
