A 31-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after an incident on a Warrington bus.
Cheshire Police have confirmed the arrest, as well as putting out an appeal for witnesses that may have information regarding the incident.
At around 3.30pm on Sunday, February 18, police were called following a ‘suspicious incident’ on the number 3 bus.
The 31-year-old was escorted off the bus by security following the incident, and has since been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
Detective Inspector David Schofield said: “Enquiries in relation to this incident are underway and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the bus at the time and witnessed any suspicious behaviour.
