HAVE you noticed mysterious yellow boxes that have appeared on roadsides in Warrington?
The boxes have spotted across various areas of the town, including on London Road in Appleton and Stockton Heath and on Wilderspool Causeway.
They have raised questions among residents.
They are bright yellow in colour have no markings or letters on the outside.
Inside, they are near enough empty apart from a number of pipes directly beneath them.
It is believed they are temporary covers for telecommunication (telco) cabinets that are part-way through being installed.
Each unit is located next to a junction box, usually maintained by BT and other telecommunications companies.
