A BUSY route through the town is blocked following a crash this afternoon, Monday.
The accident was reported on Church Street, at the junction with Farrell Street and the entrance to Saunsbury’s supermarket.
It occurred at around 4.30pm and is said to involve three cars.
Cheshire Police officers have been seen in attendance along with paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.
Traffic feeds show delays in the area and queuing traffic, with motorists urged to find alternate routes.
Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
